Ampex MM-1000

Looking for that FAT Analog sound?  Nothing blasts signal onto tape like an Ampex deck. Using our collection of Class A mic pre-amps and highend mics, the Ampex MM-1000 will saturate 2" of tape @ 15 or 30 ips with all the fat sound you've ever wanted.  In combination with our highend digital gear this deck is a great tool.

For the best of both worlds, record your tracks on the 2" machine, dump to digital through the Apogee converters. Add some Midi with our Kurzweil K-2600XS and the Yamaha V-Drums with the TD-10 brain or additional audio tracks with our selection of world class mic's and warm tube mic pre-amps.  Then cut, paste and edit in Cubase SX.  We've got all the tools you'll need from the basic tracking through to the finial mix and master.
